BOOKING & CHARTER INFO

Choose your yacht and than contact your agent. You will receive immediately the availability and the exact cost of your charter.
We will keep an option of the yacht for 7 days. If we have not heard from your agent after this period, we will assume you are no longer interested in the yacht and your option will be cancelled.
If you wish to confirm your charter, your agent will send you the charter contracts for signature. The contracts have to be returned together with the requested down payment.

The yacht is now yours!

The balance payment for your charter has to be paid four weeks before your departure.

SAILING QUALIFICATION

Please note that our yachts are chartered as bareboat, that means, according to Italian law, that a member of the crew must have a sailing certificate together with a VHF licence.

SECURITY DEPOSIT

Although, all our yachts are fully insured against damage to the hull, gear and equipments as well as for third party liability (by a KASKO insurance), we request you to pay a refundable security deposit at the time of embarkation.
This can be paid by cash or by credit card.
The security deposit is to cover in the unforeseen event, any possibility of any minor damages which are not covered by the insurance of the yacht. Upon the safe return of the yacht it will be returned in full to you.
Please note that the security deposit covers only damages to the yacht and not you personal belonging and injuries.

Alternatively we offer you the option to pay a non-refundable insurance of the security deposit that allows you to pay a reduced security deposit.The insurance of the security is 250 euro by cash (not refundable) plus 500 by credit card (refundable).

PROVISIONING

In our bases, provisioning is really simple since there are supermarkets close to the marina. Below is a downloadable form that you can use if you want to order your provisioning in advance, and everything will be delivered on your yacht upon your arrival (no extra cost will be charged).

YACHT STANDARDS

Aboard your yacht you will have at your disposal high quality equipment in terms of navigation and comfort: GPS, log, eco, wind, VHF, Stereo – CD with outside loudspeakers, nautical charts, pilot books, bimini top, spryhood, tender, electric windlass, genoa roller, hot water, blankets, pillows, cockpit shower, fridge, complete galley equipment, battery charger, 220 cable with plugs, power inverter (600W), 1 set of flippers and diving masks. Some of our yacht are equipped with bow thruster, electric winches, teak deck, heating.

BOARDING PROCEDURES

As soon as you arrive at the base you can have your briefing at our base office (just in front of the berths). Then a member of our staff will show your boat and check in procedures. If you prefer to relax the first evening or if you arrive after 5 pm we can do the briefing during the next morning.

VELA CHARTER GUARANTEE

All our yachts are very well maintained and undergo regular technical checks. Should a technical failure happen despite our highly professional maintenance, we commit ourselves to repair the failure in the next 4 hours following your call at the base during working hours (8 am to 5 pm). If you loose more than 4 hours (during working hours) we will refund you one full day. If the repair takes more than 1 day, we will provide you with a similar boat or refund you the lost days of your vacation. In case of emergency you can rely on our main base manager (Tel. +39 393 90 46 232), at any time, 7 days a week.
